October 20th was a great day spent together with the international students and our homestay families. We had a fun-filled day with lots of activities, including navigating a corn maze, attending a homestay appreciation dinner, and watching our local hockey team in action! The International Student Program was well represented at Dauphin’s “Yard Fringe” on September 28th, 2018. Yard Fringe is an annual event in Dauphin where participants travel by bicycle from yard to yard and take in performances and participatory creative art activities that last between 20 and 30 minutes. It is great to see students getting involved in all our local events. All students continue to be great ambassadors to their respective nations and welcome additions to their new second home!!!

The international students had their first activity on September 15th, 2018. I think it is safe to say that we all had a great time. The ISP would also like to thank all students for being both respectful and appreciative to camp staff, bus drivers and peers. We are fortunate to have such a great group of students this year!

We would like to welcome all new and returning international students to Mountain View School Division. Although students have only been here for two weeks, everyone is dong a great job integrating into their school and fitting in. Keep up the great work and have a fantastic school year!
