We would like to thank our wonderful hosts, Shelley and Allen Secord for giving our students a memorable time at their beautiful farm. Not only did we enjoy the challenging and Halloween-themed corn-maze, kids got to keep warm by the fire, eat smores and play some games.
We were also fortunate to have our homestay families join us for a wonderful roast beef dinner from Irving’s Catering . We are so thankful to all of our homestay families that open their doors and their hearts to students from all over the world. We were also thankful for the impromptu performances by some of our international students. Thank you Arthur, Wesley, Jose and Jay for the extra entertainment.
We finished the night by going out to support our local hockey team, the Dauphin Kings. Students and homestay families were treated to a great game, and fortunately, our kings came away with the victory.
Our next activity will be downhill skiing at Asessippi Ski Resort (snow permitting).
