Step 1: Complete the Application Form:

  • Note the application deadlines (above) for each of the programs offered by Mountain View School Division.
  • Electronically complete the Application for Acceptance form in English.
  • Print the application out and sign and date where indicated on the Conditions/Permission Signature Sheet (see page 6 of the application form).

  • Step 2: Prepare the following documents:

    • Original or certified true copies of transcripts or school records from your last 3 years of school (translated into English)
    • Recent photograph
    • Copy of current passport
    • Optional:  documentation of international English testing/training completed (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS)

     

    Step 3: Prepare the application fees:

    • Non-refundable application fee of $200.00 (CAD)
    • Accepted forms of payment are wire transfer, cheque or money order payable to Mountain View School Division.

     

    Step 4: Send the completed application with supporting documents to:

    Step 5: Notification of Acceptance

    • Acceptance into the International Student Program is determined by the Coordinator of International Student Program.  Students who are accepted will receive initial notification, usually by email. Once fees have been paid, an official Letter of Acceptance will be issued.

     

    Step 6: Study Permit

    • Once the Letter of Acceptance is received, immediately contact the nearest Citizenship and Immigration Canada office and request a VISA application form for a Study Permit. As this process can exceed eight weeks, please apply early. Please ensure that your passport is current.
